Participate in the Aldridge Christmas Tree Festival with Anchor Road Dental Practice

Our dental team are helping raise money for local charities by supporting the Christmas Tree Festival at Aldridge Methodist Church.   Aldridge Methodist Church have accepted our donation to grow a christmas tree. This will be on display at the festival between the 5-7th of December before being brought to the Dental Practice on the 8th of December – Just in time for our staff and patients to get into the festive spirit!   The fundraising in association with Aldridge Village Business Partnership will aid the worthy causes of Midlands Air Ambulance, St Giles Hospice Walsall and Rosie’s Helping Hands.   Why not come along and show your support? – There will be lots of festivities to get adults and children in the Christmas mood!   If you appreciate this article, or you’d like to help promote the festival then please...

Caring For Your Child’s Teeth

Bring your children to the dentist from the youngest age possible, even if it is just to watch yourself have a regular check-up. Familiarise them to the surroundings as this will have a positive effect in the future when they decide to sit in the chair for their check ups! Every time your child attends Anchor Road Dental Practice and comes into our surgery to see the dentist they will always be rewarded with a sticker. Supervision can be minimised after 7 years old once your child understands not to swallow the toothpaste and you are confident that they are brushing correctly. Sugar causes tooth decay. Minimising its content in the diet will help keep their teeth...

Go Green for NSPCC

In Aldridge at Anchor Road Dental Practice we are Going Green. Along with other local businesses and schools we have been raising money for NSPCC in association with ChildLine. Everyone is welcome to attend and show their support. The staff will be wearing green on Thursday and Friday. Do you think Hannah and Julie should always dress like this?   The Dental Practice is ready with balloons and bunting. We welcome any donations for this fantastic cause! The money raised will help train volunteers. At local primary schools they will teach children to understand abuse, and provide confidence to talk about it. We hope that this will prevent abuse of youngsters, giving them the courage to seek...
