Invisalign

Invisalign treatment is a virtually invisible way to straighten your teeth. Using advanced 3D computer-imaging technology, Invisalign shows you your complete treatment plan, from the initial position of your teeth towards the final desired position. Then a series of clear aligners are custom-made for your teeth to move them little by little.
The virtually invisible aligners are made of strong medical grade thermoplastic material, uniquely developed for the Invisalign® System. The aligners are custom-made for you and fit snugly over your teeth.
Each aligner is worn for about two weeks before being replaced by the next in the series, gradually moving towards the projected final position.

How invisalign works

Invisalign aligners move teeth through a series of carefully controlled movements. Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign treatment not only controls the amount of movement that each aligner delivers, but also the timing of the movement. So, at each stage, only certain teeth can move, following the Invisalign treatment plan for that particular stage. This results in an efficient force delivery system. The time taken depends on the complexity of the treatment and is generally comparable to that of traditional braces.

Costs and Finance

As with other types of orthodontic treatment, the cost of Invisalign treatment depends on the complexity of your teeth straightening issue and your course of treatment. As a general rule the cost for adults is comparable to traditional fixed braces and is typically between £2,500 and £4,500. We offer FREE Teeth Whitening & FREE Retainers with every treatment. Payments can also be spread through the course of treatment or we can help you arrange finance.

Covid-19 update 02/06/2020

On 29th of May the government announced that dental practices may reopen from 8th of June, subject to stringent measures to protect staff and patients.  We have been preparing the practice to accommodate these changes but guidance from the government has been limited. Further information has been promised  this week. There is a also still a national shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE) but we expect this to improve soon.

Please bear with us as we endeavour to make the surgery safe for your return over the coming weeks taking the above into consideration. In the meantime we will still be available for telephone advice between 9am and 4.30pm on weekdays and between 9am and 12pm weekends and bank holidays. Please ring the practice during these hours on 01922 452540. Our help sheet provides tips on how to manage dental problems at home.

Thank you for your patience.
